Robyn our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. I didn't know your Dad but I see where you get your beautiful looks. The Merkel family will never forget how wonderful you were with our precious Mason Merkel. You are the one who worked with him and showed him he could do anything and he has done great since. He will be in 7th grade this upcoming year, thank you so much for all your hard work you have done with all the children at OES. Masons grandmother. Martha Merkel May GOD bless you and your family

So sorry to her of the passing of your Dad (Bill). I never knew him personally, but I felt he was a humble man with great character.
Daily my heart was filled with joy to see him & his little dog sitting on their front porch on my evening drive home for work. I sure have missed seeing him and that healthy little dog. Robyn I see now where you get your beautiful looks. May God blessed you and your family during this difficult time of such a great loss.
May wonderful memories overfill your heart with abundance of love and joy.

Bill was our neighbor when he lived at Open Fork, Pikeville, KY. He was no doubt the best neighbor we ever had. He loved his horses and friends. He would check on us daily as we did him. We sure hated to see him move away but we understood he wanted to be near his family. Someone had told him that pigeon was a great bird to eat. At that time there was so many at our house. He ask if Morgan would kill him a few to eat, Morgan did. The next time Bill seen us he said he didn't want anymore they were awful. So many good stories. We loved him dearly. We got to visit one time after he moved. He took us out to meet his family. We sure will miss him. We know he's in a far better place.
