Clifford Osborne Maze, 82, of Polksville, passed away Monday evening August 22, 2016 at Ridgeway Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility in Owingsville, KY.

          Born June 30, 1934, he was the son of the late Earl and Gladys Maze and was the widower of the late Helen Maze. He was a retired mechanic and was an avid NASCAR and UK Basketball fan.

          Survivors include 3 sons, Johnny Maze and his wife Marilyn of Polksville, Burl Maze of Lexington and Randy Maze and his wife Marcia of Owingsville, 1 brother, Eugene Maze of Polksville,1 step-daughter, Vicki Curtsinger and her husband Kelly of Nicholasville, 2 step-sons, Tim Goodman of Salt Lick and Michael Gregory and his wife Barbara of Morehead, 2 grandchildren, Jared Maze and his wife Amanda and Whitney Maze, 2 step-grandchildren, Nicole Williams and her husband Stephen and Joshua Curtsinger and his wife Jordan, 2 great-grandchildren, Jaxon and Ellie Maze.

          In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a sister, Rita Maze Swim.

          Funeral services will be conducted Friday August 26, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Powell Funeral Home with Rev. Lowell Rice officiating. Interment will follow in Polksville Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday August 25, 2016 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

          In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Polksville Cemetery Association c/o Mrs. Lorena Staton, 5798 East Highway 60, Owingsville, KY 40360.
