Pete was so kind,gentle and thoughtful,I'll never forget what he did for me and my family when my mother was in a hit and run accident by a drunk driver in March 1970. He saved me and my two brothers and our precious mother a lot of heartache at that time. He was always there if we needed anything. He was a good friend, our bus driver, janitor at the Salt Lick School and my boss when I worked there as a teenager. To the family of Pete my thoughts and prayers are with you. He will be sadly missed.I would've been there had I known. Love each of you. May God bless each one of you.

There's not enough room here to say everything there is I would,like to say. We called him Pappy. He always had a smile. He was one of the kindest men I knew. Loved hanging with him at ballgames @ Salt Lick Elementary. I'll miss you Pappy. God Speed . I know you are home . Love always.
