Earl James Norris, 88, of 11199 East Highway 60, Salt Lick, KY, passed away Thursday November 17, 2016 at V.A. Medical Center in Lexington, KY.
Born August 15, 1928 at Blaine, KY, he was the son of the late William M. and Edith Edwards Norris. He was a retired barber after 49 years, a poultry and egg dealer, former owner of Midland City Ice, a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Korean War era and was a member of the Midland First Church Of God.
Survivors include his loving wife of 63 years, Nancy Wright Norris, 1 daughter, Tracy Little, 1 son, Mark Norris and his wife Liz, 4 grandchildren, Kaitlyn Norris, Michael and Matthew Little and Jessica Lykes, 6 great-grandchildren, Mason, Mattix, Annalee and Annistyn Little and Kelli Grace and Kaden Lykes and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents, were 2 sisters and 3 brothers.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday November 21, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Midland First Church Of God with Rev. Bush Stevenson and Rev. Mike Pennington officiating. Interment will follow in Bath County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Sunday November 20 from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Midland First Church Of God.
