Edna Pauline Wilson, 78, of Frenchburg, KY, passed away Friday January 19, 2018 at St. Joseph Hospital, Mount Sterling, KY.
Born November 17, 1939 at Crockett, KY, she was the daughter of the late Shafter and Ethel Ferguson Howard and was the widow of the late Charles Vernon Wilson.
Edna was a homemaker, who enjoyed cooking, crocheting and growing flowers. She was a member of the Cathedral Of Praise Church in Mount Sterling, KY.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Lou Conley and 2 brothers, Claude Howard and Russell Glen Howard.
Survivors include 3 sons, Bill Carter and wife Sharon of Richmond, IN, Richard Carter of Frenchburg, KY and Russell Carter and wife Brenda of Morehead, KY, 1 brother, James Ballard Howard and wife Merle of Salt Lick, 9 grandchildren, Andy (Daisy) Carter, Jenny (Travis) Issacs, Angie (Terry) Miller, Matthew Carter, Derek Carter, Justin (Keisha) Carter, Paula (Chris) Sims, Kimberly (Josh) Farmer and Jon Martin, 20 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday January 23, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Powell Funeral Home, Salt Lick, KY. Burial will follow in Brown Cemetery, Morehead, KY. Visitation will be Monday evening from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
