James Donald Crouch, 74, of 3060 Mudlick Road, Salt Lick, KY, passed away Monday January 11, 2016 at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead, KY.

          Born August 3, 1941, he was the son of the late James Burley and Effie Pearl Craig Crouch. He was a retired heavy equipment mechanic, U.S. Army Veteran and a member of the Mudlick Church Of God.

          Survivors include 3 sons, Randy Crouch (Kathy Oneal) of Morehead, KY, Michael Crouch (Doris) of Salt Lick, KY and Jimbo Crouch (Tami) of Salt Lick, KY, 3 sisters, Dorothy Roberson of Frenchburg, KY, Helen McNabb (Curt) of Olympia, KY and Geraldine Sweeney (Carl) of Olympia, KY, 2 brothers, Marvin Crouch (Sheila) of Olympia, KY and Shirley Crouch (Judy) of Owingsville, KY, 4 grandchildren, Jason Fair, Zachary Crouch, Zane Crouch and Kaylee Crouch, 1 great-grandchild, Kloey Fair and several nieces and nephews.

          In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Larramy James Crouch, 1 sister, Mildred Faye McNabb and 1 brother, Vernon Emerson “Bun” Crouch.

          Funeral services will be conducted Thursday January 14, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Mudlick Church Of God with Rev. Mark Caldwell officiating. Burial will follow in the Crouch Family section of Upper Salt Lick Cemetery, with military honors performed by Morehead American Legion Post #126. Visitation will be Wednesday January 13, 2016, from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Mudlick Church Of God.

          Pallbearers will be Ed Meeks, Mike Morton, Mark Wages, Joey McNabb, Buddy Crouch, Matt McNabb, Randy Crouch and Clifton Roberson.

          Powell Funeral Home, Salt Lick, KY will be caring for arrangements.
