Jeffrey Lynn Hunt, 55, of Lexington, KY, formerly of Salt Lick, KY, passed away Sunday December 20, 2015 at St. Joseph Hospital, Hospice Care Center in Lexington, KY.

          Born August 12, 1960 at Mount Sterling, KY, he was the son of the late Bruce Hunt and the late Bonnie Adams Hunt and was a construction worker.

          Survivors include his wife, Genople Sexton Hunt, 1 daughter, Andrea Hunt of Lexington, KY, 1 step-daughter, Angela Hensley of Lexington, KY, 1 sister, Angela Hunt-Maggio of Morehead, KY, 2 brothers, Steve Hunt of Livonia, MI and Rob Hunt of Salt Lick, KY, 3 grandchildren and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

          In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Bruce Hunt in 1990.

          Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday December 23, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Powell Funeral Home with Bro. Robert Utterback and Bro. Steve Meadows officiating. Burial will follow in the Sexton Family Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM Tuesday December 22, 2015 at the funeral home.
