Leonard Ray Zimmerman, 72, of 54 Patterson Rd., Salt Lick, KY, passed away Monday September 4, 2017 at Hospice Care Center in Lexington, KY.

          Born December 12, 1944, he was the son of the late Grover and Anna Mae Cline Zimmerman. He was a self employed truck driver.

          Survivors include his wife, Betty Patterson Zimmerman, 1 daughter, Tammy Zimmerman Stamps and her husband Eddie of Owingsville, KY, 1 sister, Katherine Brown of Salt Lake City, UT, 1 brother, Roy Zimmerman of Sullivan, IN, 1 grandson, Brandon Stamps and 2 step-grandsons, Brett and Ronnie Stamps.

          Funeral services will be conducted Thursday September 7, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Powell Funeral Home with Rev. Brett Stamps officiating. Burial will follow at Jones Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at the funeral Home.
