Since 1935, the Powell Family has been serving the people of Bath County and surrounding areas during their times of loss.

Robbie Powell, the current owner, funeral director and embalmer, began his career with his family's funeral home in 1981 following his graduation from Mid-America College Of Funeral Service. In addition to his service at the funeral home, Robbie has served as Bath County Coroner since 1994. Robbie is also a licensed life insurance agent and has received extensive training in advanced embalming techniques and post-mortem reconstruction from the Fountain National Academy Of Professional Embalming Skills in Springfield, Missouri.
