Carolyn Sue Adams, 81, of Broadway, Virginia and formerly of Salt Lick, KY, passed away Wednesday November 9, 2016 at her daughter’s residence in Broadway, Virginia.

          Born October 8, 1935 at Salt Lick, KY, she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Elsie Johnson Adams. She was a homemaker and the widow of the late Billy J. Adams.

          Survivors include 1 daughter, Rebecca Marie Teter and husband Tony of Broadway, VA, 1 son, Billy Dewayne Adams and wife Eva of Owingsville, KY, grandchildren, Brian Adams, Kerri and Greg Henderson, Phillip Teter, Christina and Christopher Lasam, great-grandchild, Aubrey Adams, 2 brothers, Glendale Adams and Mitch Adams.

          In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Michael Lynn Adams, 1 granddaughter, Michelle Lynn Adams and 1 brother, Oscar Elwood Adams.

          Funeral services will be conducted Sunday November 13, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Powell Funeral Home in Salt Lick, KY. Interment will follow in Dickerson Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday November 12, 2016 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at the funeral Home.
