John Henry Williams, 78, of Brooksville, KY, passed away Friday December 15, 2017 at Meadowview Regional Medical Center at Maysville, KY.

          Born June 15, 1939 at Farmers, KY he was the son of the late Richard and Claire Maze Williams and was a retired truck driver for Durkee Foods and was also a U.S. Marine Corp veteran.

          Survivors include his wife, Patricia Gubser Williams, 1 daughter, Brenda Huck and her husband Paul of Foster, KY, 2 sons, Johnny Williams and his wife Karen of Brooksville, KY and Shane Williams of Brooksville, KY, 2 brothers, Leo Williams and his wife Linda of Farmers, KY and Jack Williams and his wife Joyce of Leesburg, FL, 8 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

          In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Diane Williams, a great-grandson, Jamison Glenn Williams and twin sisters, Aliene and Geraldine Williams.

          Graveside services will be conducted Tuesday December 19, 2017 at 12:00 PM at Polksville Cemetery with Rev. Greg Whitt officiating. Visitation will be prior to the graveside service at 11:00 AM Tuesday at Powell Funeral Home.

          Graveside military honors will be performed by Montgomery County American Legion Post #22.
