Peggy Lou Dickerson Jones, 82, of Mount Sterling, KY, passed away Wednesday morning February 22, 2017.

          Born September 9, 1934 at Salt Lick, KY,  she was a daughter of the late Herndon and Edna Pearl Rice Dickerson. She was the widow of the late Ramon Filmore Jones and was a retired employee of Cowden Manufacturing.

          Survivors include 2 daughters, Phyllis West and her husband Charles of Mt. Sterling, KY and Glenna Faye Myers and her husband Rodney of Mt. Sterling, KY, 1 son, Rodney Jones and his wife Terri of Mt. Sterling, KY, 1 sister, Carolyn Sue Alexander and her husband Zane of Salt Lick, KY, 12 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

          Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents and husband, 1 son, Duane Scott Jones, 1 sister, Jewell McKenzie and 5 brothers, Earl Hayse Dickerson, Thomas J. “Buster” Dickerson, Ralph Dickerson, Kenneth Ray Dickerson and Edward Dickerson.

          Funeral services will be conducted Saturday February 25, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Lakeview Community Church with Rev. Eddie Dennison officiating. Visitation will be Friday February 24, 2017 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Lakeview Community Church. Services are under the direction of Powell Funeral Home, Salt Lick, KY.
