Rodney Ivory Stallard, 77, of Pretty Ridge Rd., Wellington, KY, passed away Saturday July 7, 2018 at his residence.
Born at Pound, VA on March18, 1941, a son of the late Ivory Trigg and Elgie B. Jackson Stallard. Rodney was a 1959 graduate of Pound Highschool and a 1964 graduate of East Tennessee State University with a B.S. Degree in computer science and retired from N.C.R. as a systems analyst and was a former small business owner. He was a Kentucky Colonel, was a member and Past Master of Salt Lick Lodge #682, F.&A.M., El Hasa Shrine and the Morehead Shrine Club.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Dolores Faye Stallard.
Survivors include 3 daughters, Pam Powell of Dayton, OH, Rae Cole of Dayton, OH and Lisa Powers and her husband Tim of Fayetteville, NC, 2 sons, Jason Stallard of Port St. Lucie, FL and Kevin Stallard and his wife Amy of Wellington, KY, 2 sisters, Carol Shortridge and her husband Frank of Spout Spring, VA and Patricia Gardner and her husband Edward of Newsoms, VA, 1 brother, Kenneth Stallard and his wife Katherine of Wise, VA, 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday July 13, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Big Woods Community Church at Wellington, KY with Rev. Jess Brewer officiating. Interment will follow in the Big Woods Community Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday July 12, 2018 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Powell Funeral Home with Masonic Rites being given at 7:30 PM by Salt Lick Lodge #682 F.&A.M.
