Sidney John Copher, 62, of 104 Rawcel Heights, Morehead, KY, passed away Wednesday February 8, 2017 at Clark Regional Medical Center in Winchester, KY.

          Born March 25, 1954 at Frenchburg, KY, he was the son of the late Corbett and Edith Frye Copher. He was a retired land surveyor and was an Air Force veteran.

          Survivors include 1 daughter, Kacey Copher of Frenchburg, KY, 1 son, Sunga Copher of Mt. Sterling, KY, 3 sisters, Donna Armitage (Danny) of Mt. Sterling, KY, Janice Crouch (Greg) of Salt Lick, KY and Lillian Jeanette Roberts (Kenny) of Booneville, KY, 4 brothers, Bobby Copher (Kaye) of Jeffersonville, KY, David Copher of Morehead, KY, Wally Copher (Misty) of Salt Lick, KY and Glenn Copher (Sharon) of Camargo, KY, 4 grandchildren, Kelsey Montjoy, Skylar Copher, Kennedi Back and Chandra Bechlimer and a sister-in-law, Ella Mae Copher of Morehead, KY.

          In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Douglas Copher, a niece, Jessica Copher and a sister-in-law, Wanda Copher.

          Graveside services will be conducted Saturday February 11 at 2:00 PM at Dickerson Cemetery with Bro. Greg Crouch officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM – 1:45 PM Saturday at Powell Funeral Home.
