Albert Hardin, 64, of Owingsville, passed away Thursday March 24, 2011.
Born in Fleming County on September 23, 1946, he was the son of the late Ike and Ella Mae Frye Hardin. He was a farmer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Crouch Hardin and a sister, Pauline Stephens.
Survivors include a daughter, Alisha Jo Hardin of Letcher County, 3 sisters, Bonnie Crouch of Hazard, KY, Wanda Jean Hardin of Salt Lick and Martha Merkel of Salt Lick, 3 brothers, Johnny Lane Hardin of Owingsville, Ike Hardin, Jr. of Salt Lick and Vernon Joe Hardin of Owingsville, special care-givers Serena and Floyd Withrow of Salt Lick, 7 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday March 26, 2011 at 3:00 PM at Powell Funeral Home in Salt Lick. Burial will follow in Jones Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM.
