Mrs. Aletha Helen "Lethie" Wills of 59 Moores Ferry Rd. Salt Lick passed away Sunday March 29, 2009 at her Residence.
Mrs. Wills was born April 16, 1906 in Bath County the daughter of the late Thomas Arthur and Ethel Mynhier Daniel. She was a homemaker, member of the Lakeview Community Church, a Kentucky Colonel, an avid U.K. basketball fan and enjoyed crocheting and quilting.
Survivors include 2 daughters, Maxine Wright of Salt Lick and Evelyn Otis and her husband Carroll of Salt Lick, 1 son, Tommy Wills and his wife Bonnie of Jeffersonville, 4 grandchildren, Jo Brewer and her husband Barry of Salt Lick, Roy Wright and his wife Nina of Salt Lick, Cindy Mitchell and her husband Bill of Frankfort and Michael Wills and his wife Dedra of Mt. Sterling, 5 great grandchildren, Jason Wright and his wife Mary Beth of Lexington, Joey Wright of Salt Lick, Neil Triplett and his wife Mandy of Morehead, Kayla Triplett of Salt Lick, and Delaney Wills of Mt. Sterling, 3 great great grandchildren, Hannah and Gabe Wright and Reid Triplett, and 2 sisters, Nora Moore of Eaton, OH and Christine Swopes of Marshall, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her husband Henry "Stack" Wills, a grandson, Mitch Otis, a son-in-law, Billy Joe Wright, 4 brothers and 4 sisters.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday April 2, 2009 at 1:00 PM at Lakeview Community Church with Rev. James Allen officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens at Morehead. Visitation will be from 6 - 9 PM Wednesday April 1 at Lakeview Community Church. Powell Funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
