Arnold Ward

          Arnold Ward, 82, of Mudlick Road, Salt Lick, KY, passed away Saturday December 22, 2018 at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead, KY.

          Born in Menifee County, KY on March 4, 1936, he was a son of the late Hughey and Lucy Luke Ward and was a retired logger and was the husband of Nancy Hardin Ward, who passed away Thursday December 27, 2018.

          Survivors include 2 daughters, Jennifer Slone and Melissa Ward, 3 sons, David Ward and his wife Darlene, Matt Ward and his wife Cynthia and Mark Ward and his wife Valerie, 1 brother, Carl Ward, 11 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

          In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Anthony Keith “Tony” Ward, 5 brothers and 4 sisters.

          Joint funeral services will be held for Nancy and Arnold Ward Saturday December 29, 2018 at 3:00 PM at Powell Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Fannin officiating. Burial will be in the Ward Family Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday December 28, 2018 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
