Barbara Brooks, 65, of 8375 East Highway 36, Olympia, KY passed away Wednesday August 17, 2011 at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead, KY.
Born April 25, 1946 at West Liberty, KY, she was the daughter of the late Ollie and Sally Marie Adkins Litteral and was retired from Pathways in Morehead, KY.
Survivors include her husband, James Brooks, 1 son, Greg Brooks of Owingsville and 1 granddaughter, Sierra Lynn Brooks.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday August 22, 2011 at 1:00 PM at Powell Funeral Home in Salt Lick with Rev. Vernon Lambert officiating. Burial will follow in her family cemetery at her residence at Olympia, KY. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
