Billy Adkins

          Billy George Adkins, 80, of Mudlick Road, Salt Lick, KY, passed away Friday December 17, 2021 at Saint Joseph Hospital, Mount Sterling, KY.

          Born August 21, 1941 in Elliot County, KY a son of the late Sanford and Cloma Ison Adkins. He was a retired bridge construction worker.

          Survivors include a daughter, Sheri Layne Robinson and husband Dano, of Owingsville, KY, 1 son, Billy Joe Adkins and wife Wanda of Owingsville, KY, 1 sister, Jeanie Mabry (the late Herman Mabry) of Morehead, KY, 4 grand children, Justin Adkins, Jordan Adkins, Travis Robinson and Courtney Robinson all of Owingsville, KY also surviving is the mother of his children, Pauline McCarty of Owingsville, KY, several nieces, nephews and many friends.

          In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Richard Adkins, Harm Adkins and Gary David Adkins.

          Graveside funeral service will be Sunday December 19, 2021 at 2:00 PM in the Norris Cemetery, KY Hwy. 211 South, Salt Lick, KY.

          Visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM Sunday at Powell Funeral Home, Salt Lick, KY.

          Serving as pallbearers will be Justin Adkins, Jordan Adkins, Travis Robinson, Travis Roberson, Randy Razor and Ricky Razor.
