Bonnie Frances (Staton) Conn

          Mrs. Bonnie Frances Staton Conn, 92, of 10662 East Highway 60, Salt Lick, KY, passed away Friday November 8, 2024 at her residence.

          Born in Bath County April 10, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Edgar and Ruth May Shrout Staton. She was retired as head cook at Salt Lick Elementary School with the Bath County School System and was a member of the Midland First Church Of God.

          In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Randolph Lee Conn in 2019, 2 grandsons: Dustin Conn and Eric Shankland, 2 sisters: Thelma Ingram and Freda Mae Staton, and 1 brother: Charles Staton.

          Survivors include 5 daughters: Eula Ginter of Morehead, KY, Vickey Shankland and her husband Joe of Salt Lick, KY, Donna Davis of Morehead, KY, Mary Ruth Conn of Salt Lick, KY and Melody Chaplin of Owingsville, KY, 1 son: Charles R. Conn of Morehead, KY, 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

          Funeral services will be conducted Monday November 11, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Midland First Church Of God with Pastor Bush Stevenson officiating. Burial will follow in Polksville Cemetery.

Visitation will be Monday from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at the Midland First Church Of God.
