Peggy Charlene Runner, age 85, went home to be with the Lord on January 19, 2022, at her home in Midland.
Born December 17, 1936, in Ashland, she was the daughter of the late Marlos and Willa Mae Darrell Caudill. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 24 years Tim Runner, one sister, Marcene Frizzell and a special granddaughter, Kaitlyn Elizabeth Fryman.
Charlene is survived by her three children, Connie and husband Wayne Johnson, Greg and wife Debbie Runner and Angela and husband Larry Fryman; four grandchildren, Jamie Johnson, Amy and husband Michael Staton, Gregory and wife Kelly Runner, and Ethan and wife Danae Fryman; five great grandchildren, Brooke Logan Toy, Skyler Toy, Addison Staton, Bentley Runner, and Cole Staton; and one great, great granddaughter, Kalissa Taylor.
Charlene was a retired housewife and member of the Lakeview Community Church. She loved spending time with her family, traveling, playing cards with her friends in her younger days and watching the Cats win. Charlene was a loving mother, sister, wife, grandmother, and a friend to many. She will be loved and missed by all who knew her.
Charlene’s celebration of life will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 22, 2022, at Lakeview Community Church with Brother Eddie Dennison officiating. Burial will follow at Jones Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, January 21, 2022, at Lakeview Community Church.
