Charles Emil Conn, Jr., 81, of 83 Center Street, Salt Lick, KY, passed away Saturday October 30, 2010 at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead, KY.
Born in Bath County, December 5, 1928, He was the son of the late Charles Emil Conn, Sr. and the late Myrtle Warner Conn and the widower of the late Della M. Conn. He was retired from the U.S. Forest Service and was of the Church Of God faith.
Survivors include 1 son, Anthony Dwayne Conn and his wife Pamela of Preston, 2 grandsons, Louis Conn and his wife Candace and Justin Conn and 1 great-granddaughter, Hailey Conn, 1 sister, Madge Davis of Salt Lick, 2 brothers, Virgil Conn and his wife Shasta of Morehead and Carlos Conn and his wife Wanda of Salt Lick.
Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents and wife, were 3 brothers, Cranston "Tance" Conn, Leroy Conn and Jerry Conn.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday November 3, 2010 at 1:00 PM at Powell Funeral Home with Bro. Randall Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in Polksville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 – 9 PM Tuesday November 2, 2010 at the funeral Home.
