Charles E. Daniels, 87, of 49 Church Street, Salt Lick, KY, passed away Friday April 17, 2015 at his residence.
Born April 2, 1928 at Middletown, OH, he was the son of the late Layton and Irene Roberson Daniels and was the widower of the late Louise Spurlock Daniels. He was a retired auto mechanic with Bobby's Auto Sales in Flemingsburg, KY and was a Kentucky Colonel and member of the Midland First Church Of God.
Survivors include his daughter Connie Daniels Carlson and her husband Marvin of Lexington, KY, 2 brothers, Bill Daniels and his wife Flossie of Wellington, KY and Ralph Daniels and his wife Geneva of Dayton, OH. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Russell Daniels and Carl Daniels.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday April 21, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the Midland First Church Of God with Pastor Bush Stevenson officiating. Interment will follow in Jones Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday April 20, 2015 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at the Midland First Church Of God.
