Arthur Charles “Charlie” Hardin, 76, of Salt Lick, KY, passed away Friday May 13, 2022 at St. Claire Regional Medical Center, Morehead, KY.
Charlie was born in Fleming County, KY September 7, 1945, a son of the late Charles Raymond and Della Bea Harding Hardin. He retired from bridge construction with Star, Inc., he was of the Church Of God faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death 2 sons, Chase Lee Hardin and Gavin Troy Flener and a sister, Nancy Ward.
Survivors include his wife, Lori Helton Hardin, 9 children, Michael Hardin, Owingsville, KY, Della Iker, Owingsville, KY, Angela King, Mt. Sterling, KY, Samantha Esteppe, Camargo, KY, Serena Hardin, Owingsville, KY, Scarlett Carpenter, Salt Lick, KY, Aimee Stiddom, Owingsville, KY, Mckenna Hardin, Salt Lick, KY, Jensen Hardin, Salt Lick, KY: and 3 recently adopted children, Aaliyah Hardin, Olivia Hardin and Erica Hardin, 3 sisters, Ellen McCarty, Barbara Staton and Judy Wolford, 3 brothers, Roger Hardin, Tommy Hardin and Joe Hardin, 24 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday May 17, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Powell Funeral Home with Rev. Vernon Lambert officiating. Burial will follow in the Jackson/Cline Cemetery, Owingsville, KY.
Visitation will be Monday evening May16, 2022 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
