Corey Storm Williams, 18, of 1435 Fearing Road, Owingsville, KY passed away Friday May 15, 2009 at University Of Kentucky Medical Center in Morehead after an extended illness.
Corey was born November 24, 1990, the son of Danny Williams of Morehead and Vickie Manley of Owingsville. He was a senior at Bath County High School and had recently published a book entitled "Tadamasa".
Surviving, in addition to his father and mother, is 1 sister, Trisha Pettit-Rice of Morehead, 2 brothers, Chris Pettit of Owingsville and Daniel Williams of Morehead. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Clark and Justine Manley and paternal grandparents, Parker and Myrtle Williams.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday May 19 at 4:00 PM at the Owingsville First Christian Church with Rev. Anthony Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in the Manley Cemetery at Slate Valley. Visitation will be from 6 – 9 PM Monday at the Owingsville Christian Church. Powell Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
