Deborah (Saunders) Black

          Deborah Kay Saunders Black, 61, of Sycamore Street, Salt Lick, KY, passed away Sunday May 17, 2026 at her residence.

          Born June 6, 1964 at Lexington, KY a daughter of the late Charles Saunders and the late Ruby Traylor King.

          In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister Carol Lynn Hunt.

          Survivors include a sister, Lois Esham of Salt Lick, KY, a brother, Charles David Saunders of Morehead, KY, a half sister, Cindy Hodskins of Fayetteville, AR. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

          In keeping with Debbie’s wishes, she will be cremated and the family will have private services at a later date.

          Powell Funeral Home, Salt Lick, KY is assisting the family with arrangements.
