Delilah Jewell

Delilah Rose Jewell, 71, of Salt Lick, KY passed away Thursday January 21, 2021 at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead, KY.

Born at Salt Lick, Ky on August 21, 1949, she was a daughter of the late Ollie Allen and Rushia Conn Jewell. She was of the Church Of God faith and was retired from Gateway Juvenile Services.

Survivors include 1 daughter, Dana Jean Swartz of Salt Lick, KY, 1 son, Eric Douglas Swartz and his wife Bobbi of Salt Lick, KY, 2 grandsons, Turner and Gabe Swartz, 4 sisters, Carolyn Fulton of Salt Lick, KY, Glenda Landsdale and her husband Clyde of Texas, Judy Burchett of Salt Lick, KY and Connie Sue Jewell-Smith and her husband Curt of Winchester, KY, 3 brothers, Billy Ray Jewell of Anderson, IN, Rodney Jewell and his wife Judy of Salt Lick, KY and Doug Jewell and his wife Charlotte of Salt Lick, KY. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death 3 brothers, Wendall Jewell, Allen Jewell and Bobby “Bugs” Jewell.

A Celebration Of Life gathering and service will begin at 1:00 PM Sunday January 24, 2021 at Powell Funeral Home, Salt Lick, KY with the service at 3:00 PM.

Due to state and federal mandates regarding the Covid-19 virus, face coverings and social distancing will be required for all attendees.
