Donald Owen Dethmers, 76, of Western Springs, Illinois, passed away suddenly Monday May 28, 2012
Born July 3, 1935 at Lake Andes, South Dakota, he was the son of the late Owen and Vera Nelson Dethmers. He was retired as chief chemist for Tower & Technology Company and was a United States Army Veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Arye Ellington Dethmers and 1 sister, Kathryn Ender and her husband William.
Graveside services will be conducted Saturday July 21, 2012 at 10:00 AM at Jones Cemetery with Rev. James Allen officiating. Military honors will be provided by Morehead American Legion Post #126. There will be no visitation. Powell Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
