Earle Lewis Greene, Jr., 73, of Breckinridge, TX passed away August 5, 2020 at the Hospice Center of Abilene, TX.
Born February 19, 1947 at Frenchburg, KY a son of the late Earle Lewis, Sr. and Bethel Jane Highley Greene. Earle was a retired mechanical engineer and a U.S. Air Force veteran serving from 1964 – 1967. He was a very talented individual who enjoyed designing his lakeside home and surrounding gardens.
Survivors include his wife, Norma Redd Greene, his children, Maria Mullis of Venice, FL, James Greene of Amelia, VA and Michele Ryan of Williamsburg, OH, a step-daughter, Kim Fletcher of Roaring Falls, TX and his siblings, Charles Greene of Batavia, OH, Kevin Greene of Fayetteville, OH and Kathryn Greene of Fayetteville, OH. Also surviving are several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Greene (2021) and a brother, Marvin Greene (2018).
A graveside memorial service will be held Saturday September 4, 2021 at 11:00 AM in the Polksville Cemetery, Salt Lick, KY under the direction of Powell Funeral Home, Salt Lick, KY.
