Edith Ward, 80, of 1042 Fraley Road, Salt Lick, passed away Wednesday February 11, 2009 at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead.
Born October 26, 1928 in Menifee County she was the daughter of the late Hughey and Lucy Luke Ward.
Survivors include a son, Jeffery Ward of Owingsville and 4 brothers, Arnold Ward, Carl Ward, Ronald Ward and Tex Ward all of Salt Lick.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday February 15, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Powell Funeral Home in Salt Lick with Rev. James Allen officiating. Interment will follow in Jones Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 - 9 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
