Edward Wilburn Maze, 93, of Mount Sterling, KY, husband of Alberta Owens Maze, passed away Wednesday June 18, 2025 at St. Joseph Health, Mount Sterling, KY.
Born at Salt Lick, KY December 6, 1931, his father was the late Carl Cecil Maze and his mother was the late Nellie Sorrell Maze. He was a retired supervisor with A.O. Smith Corp. in Mount Sterling and was a member of the Midland First Church Of God.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Dwayne Lee Maze, a daughter, Kathy Lynn Maze Miller and her husband Dan Miller, and 2 sisters, Betty Jean Lawson and Hildreth Johnson.
Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Alberta Owens Maze, a son, Bruce Allen Maze and wife Julie, 3 daughters, Rebecca Flannery and husband Mitchell, Penny Myers and Elaine Reidenbach and husband Dodd, a brother, Clay Maze and wife Geneva, 9 grandchildren: Robert Allen Maze, Brandon Sterling Maze, Skylar Adam Maze, Jacob Taylor Maze, Shane Flannery, Elizabeth Margaret Maze Bertram, Danielle Nicole Ryan-Wilson, Brittany Alexandria Owen and Aaron Reidenbach and 3 great-grandchildren: Bryan Ryse Henderson, Georgia Lynn Bertram and Sebastian Javier, Jr..
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday June 22, 2025 at 3:00 PM at Midland First Church Of God with Pastor Bush Stevenson and Pastor James Hendrix officiating. Interment will follow in the Jones Cemetery.
Visitation will be Saturday evening June 21, 2025 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Midland First Church Of God.
