Flossie Warren Maze, 87, of 90 Wells Ave., Owingsville, KY, passed away Monday September 12, 2011 at her residence after an extended illness.
She was born September 25, 1923 in Fleming County. Preceding her in death was her husband of 50 years, James Edward Maze and 2 sons, Timothy Maze and Richie Maze.
Survivors include 1 daughter, Phyllis M. Roberts and her husband Enoch of Lexington, 2 sons, Jim Maze of Salt Lick and Chester Maze and his wife Lori of Knoxville, TN, 2 daughters in law, Nancye Maze and Marilyn Maze both of Owingsville, 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Wednesday September 14, 2011 from 10:00AM – Noon at the Polksville Church of God. Private family committal service will follow at Polksville Cemetery with Rev. Willard Johnson officiating. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Gene Maze, Enoch Roberts, Jim Ed Dennis, Kenny Coyle, Ronnie Hargis, Mike Hargis, Jimmy Goodpaster and Eddie Goodpaster.
