Gavin Troy Flener

          Gavin Troy Flener, 43, of Salt Lick, KY, passed away Friday July 20, 2018.

          Born January 20, 1975 at Bowling Green, KY he was the son of the late Richard “Ricky” Flener and the late Nena Hardin.

          Troy was a self employed appliance repairman who enjoyed fishing, hunting, shooting pool and spending time with his family and friends.

          In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandmother, Carolyn McAteer.

          Survivors include his son, Bradyn Troy Flener, 7 sisters, Scarlett Carpenter and her husband Boo, Della Iker and her husband Floyd, Angela King and her husband Ernie, Samantha Esteppe and her husband Shane, Serena Patterson and her husband John, Connie Howard and McKenna Hardin, 3 brothers, Marcus Flener and his wife Jessica, Michael Hardin and his wife Wanda and John Howard, 1 step-sister, Aimee Stiddom and her husband James, 1 step-brother, Jenson Hardin, his step-father, Charles Hardin, his step-mother, Vonnie Flener, 1 aunt, Betty Jo Copher and her husband Robert and 1 uncle, Henry McAteer and his wife Linda.

          Funeral services will be Wednesday July 25, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Powell Funeral Home with Bro. Greg Crouch officiating. Interment will follow at Jones Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday July 24 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
