Geraldine (Burton) McKinniss

          Geraldine Burton McKinniss, 69, of 141 Hardin Road, Salt Lick, KY, passed away Saturday December 28, 2024 at her residence.

          Born November 6, 1955 at Morehead, KY, she was a daughter of the late Earl Burton and the late Minnie Adkins Burton Christian. She was a former associate at Walmart, Morehead, KY and was of the Church Of God faith.

          In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Wayne Anthony McKinniss, a son: Robert McKinniss, her step-father: Hazel Christian, a brother: Nickie Burton and 2 sisters: Sue Burton and Patty Burton.

          Survivors include her daughter: Tabitha Hardin and her husband Nathan of Salt Lick, KY, a granddaughter: Alyssa Donathan and her husband Steven, 2 great-grandchildren: Raelynn and Beau Taylor Donathan, 1 brother: Bobby Burton, 2 sisters: Betty Mason and her husband David and Carol Sloan and her husband Mickie. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

          A memorial service for Geraldine will be held at a later date.
