Glenna (Davis) Staton

          Glenna Bobette Davis Staton, 57, of 284 Moores Ferry Road, Salt Lick, KY, passed away Friday September 4, 2020 at her home after an extended illness.

          Born at Hannibal, MO on September 18, 1962, a daughter of Patricia Jean Dowell Davis Stuart of Monroe City, MO and the late Robert Limom Davis.

          She was a homemaker and co-owner of Staton Construction and was a member of the Hedricks Community Church.

          Her biggest hobby and the loves of her life were her grandchildren, watching their ballgames and whatever they were interested in. She enjoyed making candy and her special pumpkin rolls for benefit auctions and also enjoyed crocheting and has made many doilies and afghans as well as hats for baby heart patients and cancer patients.

          In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a sister in law, Donna Davis and 2 brothers in law, Robert Gary Staton and Robbie Gene Spurlock.

          Survivors include her husband, Phillip Staton, 2 sons, Gregory Staton and his wife Stephanie of Morehead, KY and Justin Staton and his wife Tammy of Salt Lick, KY, 1 daughter, Deborah Wittich and her husband Jamie of Sunman, IN, 3 grandchildren, Ronan Jasper Staton, Sadie Claire Staton and Sage Robert Staton, her mother, Patricia Jean Dowell Davis Stuart of Monroe City, MO, 3 sisters, Pamela McClure and her husband Joe of Shelbina, MO, Kimberly Spalding and her husband Tom of Cleburne, TX and Connie Schwab and her husband Les of Milan, IL, 4 brothers, Kevin Davis and his wife Betty of Mary Esther, FL, Bradley Davis of Monroe City, MO, Curtis Davis and his wife Anne of Purceville, VA and Mark Davis of Columbus, GA, her mother in law, Vera Staton, father in law, Herman Staton, Jr. 2 sisters in law, Peggy Spurlock and Linda Crouch and her husband Denver, 1 brother in law, Roy Staton, several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.

          Funeral services will be Monday September 7, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Hedricks Community Church with Bro. Randall Jackson officiating. Interment will follow in Jones Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM Monday until service time at the church.

          Covid 19 guidelines of a face covering and social distancing will be in place.
