Hildreth (Maze) Johnson

          Mrs. Hildreth Maze Johnson, 91, of Salt Lick, passed away Thursday, November 26, 2020 at St. Claire Regional Medical Center, Morehead, KY.

          Mrs. Johnson was born at Salt Lick, KY January 29, 1929 a daughter of the late Carl Cecil and Nellie Bea Sorrell Maze. She was retired from Cowden Manufacturing after 35 years and attended Midland First Church Of God. She was the widow of the late Hershel Clint Johnson who preceded her in death in 2010.

          Survivors include 2 brothers, Wilburn Maze and his wife Alberta of Mount Sterling, KY and Clay Maze and his wife Geneva of Salt Lick, KY, a sister in law, Phyllis Robinson and several nieces and nephews.

          In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Jean Lawson.

          Due to state Covid-19 regulations, private services will be Sunday November 29, 2020 at Powell Funeral Home, Salt Lick, KY with Rev. Bush Stevenson officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her husband in Jones Cemetery, Salt Lick, KY.
