Mr. Howard Kirk Maze, 84, of 473 Corner Ridge Road, Frenchburg, KY passed away Friday January 31, 2014 at his residence.
Mr. Maze was born October 6, 1929 at Salt Lick, KY, the son on the late Robert and Ada Alderson Maze. He was a U.S. Navy veteran serving during the Korean conflict and was retired from the Bluegrass Army Depot at Avon.
Survivors include his wife Lodis Sargent Wells Maze, 1 daughter, Debra Lynn Maze Brown, 2 step-daughters, Vicki Donathan and Beverly Robertson, 2 step-sons, Jesse Wells and Wayne Wells, a sister in law, Velma Burke and 2 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 daughters, Sherry and Ruth Ann Maze, 2 sisters, Francis Massey and Katie Dublin and 2 brothers, J.W. Maze and Ray Maze.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday February 2, 2014 at 3:00 PM at Powell Funeral Home in Salt Lick, KY with Bro. Jimmy Daulton officiating. Burial will follow in Polksville Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2:00 PM Sunday February 2, 2014.
