James Chadwick "Chad" Cochran, 41, of Salt Lick, passed away suddenly Monday April 6, 2015 at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead, KY.
Chad was born January 26, 1974 at Mount Sterling, KY and was former employee of Black Rock Coal Company.
Survivors include his mother Kaye Easton Thacker and her husband Rick of Mount Sterling, KY, his father, James Cochran and his wife Debbie of Salt Lick, KY, 2 sisters, Julie Dillon and husband Matt of Owingsville, KY and Kellie Dillon and husband Brandon of Owingsville, KY, 2 brothers, Chase Thacker and wife Ceria of Morehead, KY and Cody Thacker and wife Laura of Mount Sterling, KY. Several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday April 10, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Lakeview Community Church with Rev. James Allen officiating. Burial will follow in the Hogge Cemetery in Rowan County. Visitation will be Thursday April 9 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Lakeview Community Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested contributions be made to Powell Funeral Home, to help with the funeral expenses.
