Obituary

          James N. Johnson, 89, of Huber Heights, OH, passed away February 6, 2023.

          Born December 19, 1933 at Frenchburg, KY to the late Ben and Edna Johnson, he was a United States Army veteran and was retired from Apex Machine And Tool Company.

          In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Bessie Mae Johnson in 2018, a son Lon McCarty, a granddaughter, Bonnie Rothen, a sister, Mary Catherine Johnson and brothers Denver Johnson, Joseph D. Johnson and Bill R. Johnson.

          Survivors include his children, Gary McCarty (Judy), Vickie Vance and Linda Hoel (Ed), daughter-in-law Dee McCarty, 5 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, sisters Lillie M. Wright (Jim) and Judy Krohe. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.

          Graveside services will be conducted Saturday March 25, 2023 at 2:00 PM in Jones Cemetery, Midland with Rev. Eddie Dennison officiating.
