James Razor

          James L. Razor, 85, of Moore’s Ferry Road, Salt Lick, KY passed away Wednesday morning May 24, 2023 at Ridgeway Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility in Owingsville, KY.

          Born June 4, 1937 in New Castle, IN, he was a son of the late Roy and Lenora Tinsley Razor. He was of the Christian faith and had attended the Moore’s Ferry Christian Church.

          In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Martha Lou Razor Maze.

          Survivors include 2 brothers: Robert Razor and his wife Annabelle and Mendall Razor all of Salt Lick, KY, a niece: Verdina Hamm and nephews: Scotty Razor and Timmy Maze and a special friend, Bobby Staton. Also surviving are many friends and extended family members.

          Visitation will be Friday evening May 26, 2023 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Powell Funeral Home, Salt Lick, KY.

          Funeral services will be conducted Saturday May 27, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Powell Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Caldwell officiating. Burial will follow in Hedricks Cemetery, Salt Lick, KY.
