James Skaggs

          James Grover Skaggs, 78, of 1889 South Highway 211, Salt Lick, KY, passed away Thursday morning October 25, 2018 at his residence.

          Born March 6, 1940 at Ansted, West Virginia. He was a son of the late Paige and Erma Skaggs. He was a United States Navy Veteran a retired employee of I.B.M. Corporation and was of the Methodist faith.

          Survivors include his wife, Erma Frankie Conn Skaggs, 2 daughters, Tracy Skaggs of Lexington, KY and Rita Imler and her husband Gary of Woodbridge, VA, 1 son, Quency Huff of Lexington, KY, 1 brother, Paige Skaggs, Jr. and his wife Ann of Ansted, WV, 5 grandchildren, Jennifer Rucker, Megan Huff, Jacob Paige Goins, Dylan Bradley Goins and Adam Blair Huff, 3 great-grandchildren, Candence, Aubrey and Storm Jackson.

          Services will be held at a later date, at the convenience of his family. There will be no visitation. Powell Funeral Home, Salt Lick, KY is assisting the family with arrangements.
