John Mark Copher

John Mark Copher, 72, of Salt Lick, Kentucky passed away at his home on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 surrounded by his beloved family.

He was born on September 10, 1951 in Bath County, Kentucky to the late John Y. Copher and Ann Townsend Moore.

John was a devoted member to the Salt Lick Freewill Baptist Church and enjoyed traveling.  He also loved spending time with his grandchildren and other family members.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Roger Crouch.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Wanda Copher, five sons, Mark Copher (Paula) of Sharpsburg, Kentucky, John Mark Copher II (Lindsay), Billy Bob Copher, Joey Copher and Jim Bob Copher (Eula) all of Salt Lick, one sister, Sandy Hardin (Frank) of Salt Lick, sixteen grandchildren, Hannah Copher, Aubary Copher, John Mark Copher III, Gracie Crouch, Jamie Copher, Mark Aaron Copher, Janet Copher, Steven Jones, Tiffany Boyd, Alyssia Copher, Marcus Copher, Jacob Copher, Tyler Copher, Amber Copher, Jasmine Copher and Emily Copher and thirteen great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Friday, September 15, 2023 at the Salt Lick Freewill Baptist Church, 6367 US 60, Salt lick, Kentucky 40371 with Pastor Andy Lands officiating.

Burial will follow at the Jones Cemetery in Midland, Kentucky.

Visitation at the Salt Lick Freewill Baptist Church will be after 6:00 PM, Thursday, September 14, 2023.

Pallbearers include, Jim Bob Copher, Billy Bob Copher, Mark Copher, Jamie Copher, Taylor Davidson and Mark Crouch.

Honorary pallbearers include, Sam Davidson, Artie Parish, Ronnie Thompson, Joe McKenzie, Randy Cline, Randall Canton, Dan Kelley and Bull.
