Joseph H. Darrell, 88, of 10990 East Highway 60, Salt Lick, passed away Tuesday May 11, 2010 at his residence.
Mr. Darrell was born March 14, 1922 in Bath County, the son of the late Horton and Grace Hunt Darrell. He was a retired auto body mechanic and attended the Church Of God.
Survivors include his wife, Madelyn Carter Darrell, 1 daughter, Karen Conn and her husband Danny True of Winchester, KY, 1 son, Donald Joseph Darrell and his wife Emogine of Jamestown, OH, 2 sisters, Dorothy Reeves of Salt Lick and Pauline Ratliff of Franklin, OH, 1 brother, Dale Darrell of Salt Lick, 3 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday May 14, 2010 at 1:00 PM at the Salt Lick First Church Of God with Bro. Steve Meadows officiating. Burial will follow in Jones Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 – 9 PM Thursday May 13, 2010 at Powell Funeral Home in Salt Lick.
