Joseph Hardin

          Joseph Allen Hardin, 64, of 119 Hardin Road, Salt Lick, KY, passed away Thursday October 2, 2025 at Clark Regional Medical Center in Winchester, KY.

          Born November 22, 1960, he was a son of the late Charles Raymond and Della Hardin. He was a former construction worker and pay lake operator. He enjoyed fishing and loved spending time with his grandchildren and family.

          In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister: Nancy Ward, a brother: Charles Hardin, daughter in law: Christy Hardin and a son in law: Eric Shankland.

          Survivors include his loving wife, Linda Hunt Hardin, his daughter: Maggie Shankland, 3 sons: Nathan (Tabitha) Hardin, Caliem (Shannon) Hardin and Emanuel (Pam) Hardin, 3 sisters: Barbara (Doc) Staton, Ellen McCarty and Judy (Ray) Wolford, 2 brothers: Roger (Mary) Hardin and Tommy (Twila) Hardin, a special brother in law: David Hunt, special grand son in law, Steven Donathan, 9 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

          Visitation will be Sunday evening, October 5, 2025 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Powell Funeral Home in Salt Lick, KY.

          Funeral services will be conducted Monday October 6, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Powell Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Fannin officiating. Burial will follow in the Joe and Linda Hardin Family Cemetery at 119 Hardin Road, Salt Lick, KY.

          Serving as pallbearers: Nathan Hardin, Caliem Hardin, Maggie Shankland, Emanuel Hardin, Alyssa Donathan, Steven Donathan,  Alex Hardin and Payton Hardin.
