Joyce Ann (Conley) McCarty

          Joyce Ann McCarty, 64, of Shields Road, Sharpsburg, KY, passed away Monday morning, December 13, 2021 at St. Joseph Hospital, Mount Sterling, KY.

          Born August 21, 1957, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Frozie Smith Conley and was a homemaker.

          Survivors include her husband Don McCarty, 1 daughter, Krystal McCarty, and 2 sons, Timothy and Shannon McCarty, 2 sisters, Cathy (Bill) Wilman and Helen (Barry) Fogleman, 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

          In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 4 sisters, Ethel Foster, Anna Mae White, Delores Goodpaster and Marie Crouch and 3 brothers, Hershel B. Conley, Ronald Conley and Donald Conley.

          Following her request, she will be cremated and there will be no visitation or service. Powell Funeral Home, Salt Lick, KY is assisting her family with arrangements.
