Obituary
Judy Faye Burchett, 70, Of Salt Lick, KY, passed away Wednesday May 18, 2022 at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead, KY.
Born December 29, 1951 at Salt Lick, KY, a daughter of the late Ollie Allen and Rushia Conn Jewell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Thomas “Tom” Burchett and a sister, Jane Jewell.
Judy was a cosmetologist for 50 years where she always loved cutting her clients hair. She was also a cosmetology instructor for 13 years, where she also enjoyed teaching her students to style hair.
Survivors include 2 children: Jordan Burchett and Carol Burchett, both of Salt Lick, KY, 2 grandsons: Riley and Carter Burchett, both of Salt Lick, KY and 3 sisters: Glenda Lansdale of Texas, Connie Sue Smith of Winchester, KY and Carolyn Fulton of Salt Lick, KY.
In keeping with Judy’s wishes, there will be no service or visitation.
Powell Funeral Home, Salt Lick, KY is assisting the family with arrangements.
