Judy Belle Parrish McNabb, of 249 Helton Road, Salt Lick, passed away Friday January 23, 2009 at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead after an extended illness.
Born in Bath County, she was the daughter of the late Glen and Marie Hardin Parrish and was a retired employee of St. Claire Regional Medical Center with 35 years service.
Survivors include 2 sons, Robin "Whitey" McNabb of Salt Lick and Christopher McNabb of Middletown, Ohio, 1 sister, Patsy Copher of Salt Lick and 5 grandchildren, Carlos McNabb, Austin McNabb, Micah McNabb, Aaron McNabb and Emily McNabb. Also surviving are 1 aunt, Rosie Netherly and 1 uncle, Raymond Hardin both of Salt Lick and several nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and special friends at St. Claire Regional Medical Center Surgery Department. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, June McIntosh.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday January 25, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Powell Funeral Home in Salt Lick with Bro. Vernon Lambert and Bro. Steve Meadows officiating. Interment followed in Bath County Memorial Gardens. Visitation was held from 6 – 9 PM Saturday January 24, 2009 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions were suggested to St. Claire Hospice of Morehead.
