Julian Story, 79, of 794 Anderson Branch Rd. at Muses Mill, KY, passed away Wednesday September 26, 2012 at his residence.
Born at Hillsboro, KY on November 13, 1932 he was the son of the late Harlan and Lela Manning Story. He was a retired barber in Flemingsburg and was a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Korean War and was a member of the W.N. Fant American Legion Post #5 in Flemingsburg and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Bernice Gulley Story, 3 sons, Shane, Wes (Lita) and Joe (Melissa) Story all of Fleming County, 1 brother, Carl Day Story (Penny), 4 sisters, Wanda Vice (Bill), Marylin Raskay (Joe), Theresa Mae Garfin (Stan) and Ruby Creech, 7 grandchildren, Nicole, Sheena, Danielle, Brad, Jordan, Clint and Juliann and 5 great-grandchildren, Zach, Brooklyn, Adam, Carrie Ann and Layla.
A memorial service and gathering of friends and family will be Saturday October 20, 2012 at St. Charles Catholic Church in Flemingsburg from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to the Cancer Care Club in Flemingsburg or St. Claire Hospice in Morehead.
