Kathleen Welch Bashford, 87, of 909 McCarty Branch Road, Salt Lick, passed away Tuesday August 31, 2010 at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead.
Born November 17, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Alpha Swanigan Welch and the widow of the late Morton Bashford. She was a homemaker and member of the Young's Valley Church Of God.
Survivors include 1 daughter, Debbie Dickerson and her husband Ricky and 2 sons, Kenny Crum and his wife Peggy and Jeff Bashford and his wife Teresa, all of Salt Lick, 2 sisters, Edna Couch and Eldean Gorman both of Indiana, 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday September 2, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Young's Valley Church Of God with Bro. Vernon Gross officiating. Burial will follow in the Lower Salt Lick Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 – 9 PM Wednesday September 1 at Powell Funeral Home
