Aletha Kaye Elam, 74, of 875 Black Sulphur Road, Salt Lick, KY, passed away peacefully in her sleep Tuesday morning, October 11, 2022.
Kaye was born November 12, 1947 and was a beloved mother, sister, grandmother and friend to all. She was a Registered Nurse for over 30 years and an exceptional homemaker. She made everything and everyone she touched beautiful. She enjoyed a beautiful 54 years of her life with her husband Frank Elam.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son Scottie Elam and his wife Lyndsay; her adored grandchildren, Dawson Elam, Savannah Elam, Maggie Elam, Reagan Elam, Paley Crabtree (Gabe) and Gage Elam; her loving brothers, Clay Clark (Helen) of Morehead, KY, Glennis Clark (Marsha) of Ohio, Harry Clark (Pam) of Morehead, KY, Rex Allen Clark (Jenny) of Morehead, KY and Woody Clark (Barbara) of Morehead, KY; 2 special sisters, Vivian Helton (Bob) of Morehead, KY and Becky Harrison of Virginia; also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Elwood and Lucy Clark, a son; Jonathan Elam, her brothers; Curt Clark (Vera), George Clark (Ivy) and Deward Clark (Judy) and her father in law and mother in law, Charles and Bea Elam.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday October 14, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Mudlick First Church Of God with Rev. Mark Caldwell officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time at the church.
